It’s been over a month since I last heard from you and the last things you said to me was “goodbye”. I wonder if you still think of me like how I think of you. It seems everything reminds me of you. From the moment I wake till the moment I sleep, there’s always some point in time where my thoughts of you.
There are so many what ifs. What if we had never broken up? Would we still last? What if you never ended it? Would we end up getting married? What if I was able to keep you with me? Would we have kids and live happily ever after.
There are so many questions I could ask, so many questions I need answers to. To this point, I still don’t understand how you could’ve let it go. It hurts me inside to just think of the possibilities. If you simply fell out of love or if I did something… or worse, the thought of you being with someone else.
It doesn’t matter if we ever end up together again, I just need closure.
